How does ScrumGenius pricing work?

ScrumGenius is billed per active employees per month. Active employees are the ones answers reports per month. We offer a generous discount for our annual plans when paying upfront.

Basic - $3/mo per user (or $2.50/mo billed annually)
Includes core features:

Team - $5/mo per user
Includes Basic plan, plus:

• Unlimited reports
• Goals & Blocker tracking
• 90-day standup history
• Roles & Access Sharing
• Team Activity

Business - $7/mo per user
Includes Team plan, plus:

• Private reports
• Report insights
• Integrations with tools like Asana, JIRA, Azure Devops, Planner, and more
• Customize messages sent by ScrumGenius
• Custom Retention Settings

What is an active user?

Regardless of the team size, we only charge for active users, the unique participants that you configure across all your reports in ScrumGenius. This sets us apart from many of our competitors, who charge for each individual user. We only charge for the users who receive a report. So we no extra charge for Account Admins, Team Admins, Billing Owners etc. You will only be billed for the active users in your account (only the people doing check-ins and updates). Users can belong to multiple teams or reports but are only counted and billed once per billing cycle. We'll prorate any users you add or remove in the middle of the billing cycle.

The above prices are for our monthly plan. All our plans come with an annual plan, where you can save about 20% when the cost is prepaid. We also offer volume discount pricing based on the number of seats. 

Annual pricing:

Basic - $30/user/year

Team - $50/user/year

Business - $70/user/year

If you would like to request a quote, let us know the number of seats you will need in the future and we can provide you more details.

Example: If you have 10 team members participating in your standups with ScrumGenius, you would only need a license of 10 seats with us, even if your total members are larger. 

Other things to note: You can invite other roles such as Billing Owner and Team Admin to share and manage your teams and reports. If these users do not participate in a report, we do not bill for them. See Roles & Permissions on how to share access.
