How does ScrumGenius pricing work?

ScrumGenius is billed per active employees per month. Active employees are the ones answers reports per month. We offer a generous discount for our annual plans when paying upfront. To see the current pricing, please see our pricing page.

What is an active user?

Regardless of the team size, we only charge for active users, the unique participants that you configure across all your reports in ScrumGenius. This sets us apart from many of our competitors, who charge for each individual user. We only charge for the users who receive a report. So we no extra charge for Account Admins, Team Admins, Billing Owners etc.

Example: If you have 10 team members participating in your standups with ScrumGenius, you would only need a license of 10 seats with us, even if your total members are larger. 

Other things to note: You can invite other roles such as Billing Owner and Team Admin to share and manage your teams and reports. If these users do not participate in a report, we do not bill for them. See Roles & Permissions on how to share access.

Can I create multiple teams?

Yes! With a single account, you can create new teams, belong to other teams, and switch between teams within ScrumGenius. There is no limit to the number of teams you can have. Teams are usually connected and synced to a platform, such as Microsoft Teams, Slack or Email.

Do you have volume pricing?

Yes, we do. Our volume pricing starts at 50 seats. Please contact us for requests to our volume pricing with your desired seat number for a custom quote.
