Report reminders

To enable reminders, select the toggle under Schedule > Check-in reminders. ScrumGenius will send out customizable notifications to a specific team channel to remind everyone to complete their standups. 

How Report Reminders Work

Report reminders are sent to a specific team channel and are spaced out dynamically to fit your report period. They can be enabled or disabled by team admins or managers in the report configuration.

Here is an example of how reminders would work if a report has an open period of 2 hours:

• The team member would get the report when the report period opens (at 0%, or 0 hours).
• The first reminder will be sent after 20% of the open period time as passed. In this case, 20% of 2 hours is 25 minutes. Thus, the first reminder will come after 25 minutes. 
• The final reminder will be sent after 80% of the open period time as passed. In this case, 80% of 2 hours is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Thus, the second and final reminder will come after 1 hour and 30 minutes.
